The Coventry Philharmonic Choir will be performing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and excerpts from Howard Goodall’s Eternal Light on Saturday 16 November 2019 at 7:30 pm in the School Concert Hall at King Henry VIII School, Warwick Road, Coventry. The choir will feature two local children’s choirs and soloists Imogen Russell (Soprano), Matthew Sandy (Tenor) and Andrew Randall (Bass). Tickets for the concert, which will run for about two and a half hours including an interval, will go on sale in October 2019. Further details can be found on the Coventry Philharmonic Society’s website www.covphilsoc.org.uk. The ticket price indicated below is only an estimate. This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear Carmina Burana, a tremendously exciting musical work which the Choir was privileged to present the live England performance premier in 1951, alongside a very popular modern choral work, Eternal Light.
