Reform the Norm Micro-Commissions

We want to ensure that D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists are represented across our programme, ensuring not only equal opportunities, but equal voice.

As part of this commitment, we formed a partnership with Unlimited to create commission opportunities for Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists in Coventry and Warwickshire, helping them reach local, national and international audiences.

The first of these artists is Hayley Williams-Hindle, who was one of five national artists selected from over 80 micro-commissions across the country to appear in the Unlimited Festival 2021, hosted digitally by the Southbank Centre.

Unlimited: Joyful Journeys by Lou Sarabadzic

Produced in response to the isolation of lockdown and her own experience of anxiety, Lou Sarabadzic’s Joyful Journeys is a set of four short films exploring some of the challenges we experience inside and outside of home, and how we can foster creative connections and find joy and/or support even under the most challenging circumstances.
