Access Coventry

Access Coventry is designed to help you up-skill and increase your understanding of the experiences or access requirements of audiences.

The 10-week programme will culminate in us collaborating to create a Manifesto for Access which is the first step on our journey of making Coventry a more accessible place to experience culture.

All events will be BSL interpreted and captioned.

We will aim to supply participants with any additional access requirements.

Access Coventry: Housebound Audiences

This second session in our series focuses on how we can create work for a range of audiences who, for whatever reason, are unable to leave their homes.
 
Keynote speakers include:

Katie Walters - Radical Body

Our speakers will be sharing their knowledge and experiences of how to overcome barriers for housebound audiences and the practicalities and strategies of providing access solutions.

At the end of the session, you will gain an understanding of good practice and identify some simple steps to take to make your events more accessible.

Each training session is designed to help you up-skill and increase your understanding of the experiences or access needs of audiences. To get the most out of this course we encourage you to attend as many of the events as you can.

Access Coventry: Audiences with Learning Difficulties
