Coventry celebrates diverse LGBTQIA+ communities in the city and around the UK and, with a number of locations across the city centre, invites everyone to get involved and enjoy what is on offer.
1. Join PRIDE - Classically Queer in the Cathedral Ruins for a special performance of classical and contemporary music, celebrating the best of LGBTQI+ musicians in the region.
2. Coventry’s two gay bars, Glamorous and The Yard, add an exciting offer to the city’s entertainment options. Featuring weekly cabaret with some of the best drag acts from across the country, DJ's and so much more, you’re guaranteed a vibrant time, every time.
3. Every year, Coventry plays host to an annual Pride event, attracting thousands of people to the city centre across the festival weekend. Coventry Pride also hosts events almost every week of the year, running support groups for LGBT+ communities and promoting local LGBT+ initiatives, businesses and fundraisers.
4. Visiting between 1 July and mid-October? Don’t miss the festival vibe at Assembly Festival Garden, the centrepiece of City of Culture events, including cabaret, circus events, comedy and children’s shows.
