Window Wanderland is coming back to your street!

In early 2022, streets across Coventry and Warwickshire will once again light up their front windows and gardens and become beautiful night-time walking trails.

Window Wanderland can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities, so everyone on your street can get involved.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Each area of Coventry will be designated two weeks to have their window designs on display. Before we announce which weeks your area is taking part, you can get your thinking cap on and start planning your display ahead of time.

Speak to your neighbours, local residents’ group, faith group, school parents’ committee or student committee about how you’ll spread the word in your building or area. Last time, some streets chose a theme - your theme could be anything, from ‘the history of Coventry’ to Squid Game!

Window displays can be made from anything you can find around the house: for example, newspaper, cereal boxes, fairy lights or cuddly toys. Closer to the time, we’ll be holding workshops with some top tips on how to use materials you have to hand.

WHAT IS WINDOW WANDERLAND?

Window Wanderland started in Bristol in 2015 and now takes place all over the world. Residents make a display for their window or garden forming a walking trail for a winter’s evening.

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Community Fund, we’ll be working with amazing people across the city who are determined to get their local communities involved.
