Rinkoo Barpaga will be your BSL tour guide of the House is a Feeling exhibition space that uses film, lighting and dry ice to recreate and comment on rave culture.

We welcome sign-language users, non-sign language users, people with hearing loss or use adaptations/technology. Troi Lee, founder of Deaf Rave, will tell his story about twenty years of partying and bringing people together to tell their stories of raves. 

The House is a Feeling project is by a Neurodiverse artist, Adi Dowling, who presents Rave's story in many different ways: for example, the political situation when Rave first happened and mass dancing in a field or warehouse.

House is a Feeling (Exhibition)

Immerse yourself in the musical and cultural revolution that swept across Coventry from 1985 to 1993.

A multi-sensory installation with moving images, House is a Feeling gives an immersive insight into the hope, elation and despair of our city’s rave scene during this period, as well as its enduring legacy. 

House is a Feeling contains content that some audiences may find distressing including real life accounts of racism, violence and drug use. Guideline Audience Age Range: 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
