Party on the Green - Holbrooks Park

Sat 14 Aug 2021
Duration: 12.00pm - 9.30pm

Our pre-allocation of tickets for local residents has sold out, but there's plenty of room at Party on the Green even if you don't have a ticket - we're here until 9.30pm, so show up any time.

On Saturday 14 August, head to Holbrooks Park for Party on the Green, a FREE neighbourhood celebration for all the family.

A giant mirror ball will appear above the sports court (Multi-Use-Games-Area - MUGA), transforming it into a performance space and a dancefloor. A DJ Truck will spin some tunes throughout the day and then we’ll have a Silent Disco Party - and don’t forget your skates if you fancy a roller disco!

You’ll also encounter unexpected walkabout performances as you explore the park, and watch local group Ascension Dance, who will perform and run a half-hour workshop for you to learn more about their style and practice.

The car park will transform into a dining space where you can enjoy street food and watch performances of Leamington-based Motionhouse’s Wild.

Come and relax on the grass with a picnic, pick up some delicious street food, and bring all your family and friends for this incredible celebration on your doorstep. Come on down and party with us!

A limited allocation of free advance tickets was made available to local residents from 6 July - these are now sold out. If you didn't get a ticket, that’s okay - walk ups are encouraged on the day and all are welcome.

We understand that government is intending to lift all restrictions on Covid from 19 Jul which is great for people wanting to enjoy Party on the Green, an outdoor event in our local parks. We also recognise that not all of our audiences might feel comfortable with that just yet. You may still see some of our staff wearing masks and you’ll be welcome to wear yours too. We also know that not everybody will feel okay about lifting restrictions on distancing, and so we thank you in advance for being mindful and respectful of others while you’re on site. For your safety and ours, we will be regularly testing our staff and performers and maintaining a good cleaning regime.

We still ask that if you have any Covid symptoms, you please do not attend Party on the Green. We look forward to welcoming you in August.

I don’t have a ticket. Can I still attend?

Yes. There’s plenty of room at Party on the Green – no ticket needed. Join us at any time, bring your family and friends, and enjoy quality performances on a summer’s day. Re-entry is permitted.
