Coventry Glides x IN CELEBRATION OF MOBO

As the MOBO Awards come to Coventry, we're celebrating with a special Coventry Glides x IN CELEBRATION OF MOBO takeover featuring Humans on Wax and Coventry DJ, Jay Holder to soundtrack your skate.

Humans On Wax is a vinyl DJ collective formed in Coventry in 2017 by neurodiverse artist, Lauren Joyce and vinyl veteran, Rodney Taylor. They champion the underground music scene in Coventry, promote inclusion on the dancefloor and behind the decks, and allow space for people to explore analogue sound in a digital world. At Coventry Glides they'll showcase some of Coventry’s talented vinyl DJs and in line with MOBO’s aims and objectives, have invited Coventry DJ, Jay Holder, a prolific DJ known for his selection of Drum and Bass, to join them for this one-hour takeover.

Book now for a night to remember as they dig through their records to celebrate music of black origin from Coventry and beyond - playing Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Disco, Raregroove and more.
