Join us at the Methodist City Hall in Coventry where delegates from across the UK and the online global community will gather to share practice, ideas and policy about arts and homelessness. The first Summit in Manchester, 2018 was attended by 250 people from 19 different countries. Due to COVID and travel restrictions, the 2nd International Arts and Homelessness Summit will be attended in person and online.
Highlights of the 2021 programme include:
- Discussions on arts and homelessness.
- Practice Exchange and Professional Development.
- Audience-led conversations.

AHI works to bring positive change to people, projects and policy in the homelessness community through arts and creativity. This will be a chance to celebrate the work of the local and international artists who are or who have been homeless.
In line with AHI’s commitment to co-production, 50% of the tickets for the Summit will be given free to people who are or who have been homeless. If you qualify for these tickets, please email [email protected]
The content raised at the Summit around homelessness may be upsetting or triggering to some people. There will be support available during the Summit if you require it, including access to a Support Worker and Safeguarding Lead, as well as a designated Quite Space in the building.
Breakfast, lunch and tea/coffee breaks are included during the duration of the Summit and on Monday 11 October you are invited, for free, to see the play ‘Eng-er-land’ by Hannah Kumari.
A Coventry City of Culture Trust project, in partnership with Spirit of 2012 and British Council.
With grateful thanks to Arts Council England for support.
