Flock Together Coventry Charterhouse Birding Walk
Flock Together is hands-down the most popular birdwatching group around. This is because they challenge the idea that people of colour do not belong in the outdoors. They do - and one look at their Instagram will show you an array of beaming black and brown faces against the rich background of greenery.
Join them on a guided bird walk, which will allow for great photos and conversations along the way. There will be free merch giveaways as well and some very special performances from Coventry’s finest upcoming creatives!
The group’s co-founders, Ollie and Nadeem, will lead the walk through Coventry’s Charterhouse Field and, along the way, provide a great chance for young creatives and more to network, learn about the creative industry and connect with nature in a way they may never have done before!
As part of our commitment to provide a safe environment for all at our events we ask that you please try to bring facemarks, carry hand sanitiser and observe Covid-19 guidelines.
Follow Flock Together on Instagram @flocktogether.world #BIRDGANG.
If you can't wait for these Flock Together walks, you can take a self-guided walk with your friends and family. Guides are available to collect at our Observations on Being Box Office (CV1 2JT). We also have some binoculars on site for you to use if you don’t have your own.
Commissioned by Coventry City of Culture Trust produced by York Mediale. This event takes place within our Observations on Being series, as part of our #GreenFutures programme.
