Coventry City of Culture Trust and Junk Kouture have teamed up to create a Sustainable Fashion competition for local schools, that will culminate in a celebration runway show as part of Coventry UK City of Culture.

Horrible Histories

Famous figures from Coventry’s past have been given the Horrible Histories treatment as the team behind one of the best loved children’s TV programmes has been filming in the city. Screen the live premiere in your school assembly.

The Show Windows: Schools Window Design Competition

To celebrate the Show Windows project that is happening across Coventry city centre, CoC have partnered with RIBA to invite students around Coventry and Warwickshire to get creative and design their own window display to be showcased in the Apps Living Window near the Belgrade Theatre.

Animals by Dens and Signals

‘Animals’ is a touring theatre show for Year 4 about wild animals, and humans, the impact which humans have on animals, and vice versa. It's about the nature and biodiversity crisis, and how humans are really animals too. It's about building connections and empathy between species.

Window Wanderland

In early 2022, streets across Coventry and Warwickshire will once again light up their front windows and gardens and become beautiful night-time walking trails.

Schools are at the hub of their communities, so this year we have produced a specific guide to help all schools use their public facing areas and get involved.

Window Wanderland Workshops

Would you like to have a FREE Window Wanderland Workshop in your school? Pupils will create window displays for the schools’ windows and/or make a display to take home for their own homes.

Machine Memoirs: Space

Machine Memoirs: Space will be a 360 degree experience, suitable for the whole family, with a futuristic, awe-inspiring display that captures the beauty and spectacle of space in waves of colour and light.

Water Water Everywhere

Water Water Everywhere is an immersive, playful experience created by young people with learning disabilities from Coventry special schools and facilitated by Open Theatre.
