From 20 February to 19 March 2021, streets across Coventry and Warwickshire are lighting up their front windows and gardens and become beautiful walking trails.
Window Wanderland can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities, so everyone on your street can get involved.
Thanks to support from The National Lottery Community Fund, we’re working with amazing people across the city who are determined to get their local communities involved.
We’re supporting ten areas to take part. Find out which area you’re in and register your window display on the map.

Window Wanderland can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities. A lounge with candles, fairy lights in the garden, a front room disco or your favourite book in the window - it’s completely up to you. It can be small and simple, or large and elaborate.

What's the theme in my area?
The residents themselves decide the theme for their street or neighbourhood. It's optional, however, and most areas don't have a theme. If there is no information about themes on your area's Window Wanderland webpage, that means one hasn't been decided, so you can do your own thing.
Can I post leaflets and materials to my neighbours?
Unfortunately, in line with lockdown restrictions, we can’t encourage you to post leaflets to your neighbours. Please consider getting in touch with neighbours you know over the phone, asking to feature in a local email newsletter, or reaching out to local community groups on Facebook. You can read more about Covid safety below.
How can I spread the word?
Use our online resource pack which contains printable posters, social media assets and photographs.
I'm unable to buy the materials for my display.
That's okay, window displays can be made from anything you can find around the house: for example, newspaper, cereal boxes, fairy lights or cuddly toys. Come along to one of our workshops (more information above) for some top tips on how to use materials you have to hand.
My street isn't covered by the map.
If your area isn't registered, you're still welcome to take part. We'd love to see photos of your display on social media. If you live near an area that is registered, you can still add your display to their map. The more the merrier!
What is Window Wanderland?
Window Wanderland started in Bristol in 2015 and now takes place all over the world. Residents make a display for their window or garden forming a walking trail for a winter’s evening. Visit the Window Wanderland website to find out more.

Window Wanderland is a great way to connect during lockdown because you don’t need face-to-face contact to take part. We want you to enjoy it safely, so please do everything from home where possible.
