Commercial Events Producer

Working in the Programme Department as part of the Senior Producing Team, this role will lead the Trust’s commercial events and outdoor venues/events activation in Coventry City Centre and key sites around the city for the year of 2021.

Our Commercial Events Producer will primarily be in charge of booking commercial creative activities and extraordinary experiences across the public realm and in a range of indoor spaces, including programming festival sites and organising a host of pop-up events and high impact/high footfall artistic activities.

Commercial Events Producer Job Description

Executive Support Officer

This role is key to support the City of Culture 2021 Board of Trustees and the newly formed Executive Board on a fixed term contract until March 2022, boosting engagement by Trustees and strengthening communication across a complex and fast-moving organisation.

The principal function is to ensure that both the full Board of Trustees and the Executive Board run smoothly, and all key actions are agreed; recorded and monitored.

This role will also provide a critical link between the two main Boards, sub-committees and then into other partner bodies including the City Readiness Board and All Member Advisory Board (Coventry City Council).

Open Call-Out for Production staff

Are you an experienced Production Manager, Stage Manager, Producer, Set Designer, Lighting Designer/Technician, Sound Designer/Technician, or Costume Designer? Coventry City of Culture Trust is looking to connect with skilled individuals in the region to support our work in 2021 and during the build-up programme. You’ll ideally be based in Coventry, but those from further afield are also encouraged to get in touch.

City of Culture Leadership Programme

Coventry City of Culture Trust are looking for 15 Coventry people of all ages and experience levels to take part in our 2.5-year City of Culture Leadership Programme. If you’ve always wanted to make big arts and cultural changes in Coventry, we’ll give you an office space to work from as well as leadership training, mentoring and sector placement opportunities locally, nationally and internationally. Come and develop your big ideas with help from experts to make them a reality. Open to everyone in Coventry aged 18+, and no prior experience is needed.
