Try It! - Hoofin' It with Horses is a 10-week course. We recommend that you attend all 10 sessions. However, if you have to miss one, that’s okay - you don’t need to book for all sessions in advance.

No prior experience is required to join the course. We welcome you and your friends to have some fun and Try It! this autumn.

Guideline Age Range: 16+

WITH REECE MCCOOK

Join us as we unite the lives of inner-city communities with horses.

Suitable for all age groups, this club will help you explore alternative career paths within the Equestrian Industry.

The club will provide first-hand experience in horse care, management, and riding tuition from professional equestrian coaches.

During the ten weeks, we will learn the basics of how to look after horses and ponies and gaining knowledge of relevant equipment and tools that are used in the industry. You will also go through an intensive riding course with the aim of being able to jump at the end of the ten week club.

  • WEEKLY MEET UP: TUESDAYS
  • START DATE: 5 OCTOBER 2021
  • TIME: 12pm – 1pm
  • VENUE: MOOR FARM STABLES (CV7 8AP)

Tickets cost £2 per person or £3 for two people (bring a buddy!)

WHAT IS TRY IT?

Try It! is a programme encouraging Coventry residents to have a go at a range of new, and often quirky, health-giving creative activities during our year as UK City of Culture.

We believe in social prescribing – the idea that, by taking part in community activities, we can all improve our health and wellbeing.

This project aims to enhance the lives of community members and leave a lasting legacy of creative activities in Coventry.

For each workshop, you can book tickets online or pay at the door.
