The walk will be 2.5 miles starting at the Red Lane Community Centre, finishing at Canal Basin. We expect the walk to take 60-90mins at a gentle pace with several breaks. The afternoon Asr prayer will be made at 6:15pm at Red Lane Community Centre before the walk starts. Please arrive early if you wish to perform your prayers before the walk. The Coventry Community Resource Centre car park closes at 10pm.
You will receive a reminder email closer to the time advising you what to wear based on the weather forecast at the time. Please arrive with trainers or comfortable walking shoes, along with clothing that walk comfortably in.
A 3 course Iftar meal will be provided at the Coventry Canal Basin. This will be an outdoor waterside Iftar experience, with some moments of reflection and accommodations will be made for prayer time also. It is expected to be cold in the evening so you might want to walk with a backpack carrying some additional layers for warmth.
