Random String Festival: Light Nights Art Walk

Random String is Ludic Rooms’ biennial festival of arts and technology. This year we’re bringing light, sound and projections to a stretch of Coventry Canal, following a 1km trail that ends in the Canal Basin. We invite you to venture along the canal and explore artworks that transform the waterway and our sense of place. This year’s theme is Future Folk, and we’re exploring new kinds of folklore and rituals for life by the water in the 21st Century.  Discover the future creatures of the urban canal, gods and goddesses of the waterways, and new kinds of folk-tales.

Reform The Norm - Story Of Us: Live

An immersive and intimate evening of stories, poetry performance and music. The Story Of Us began as a ten-week training course, giving individuals, who for many reasons are marginalised, a chance to be listened to and tell their own stories in creative ways.

The Story Of Us: Live is not simply a culmination of work created, but a warm invitation to engage with these stories that so often are miscommunicated, misunderstood or unheard.

‘Courage calls to courage everywhere’ Millicent Fawcett (1913)
