Open Citizens Events Volunteers Callout

21 September 2017

Ludic Rooms are the Digital Artists in Residence for the Coventry’s 2021 City of Culture bid. We’ve been given the task of demonstrating the creativity and ambition of the city through an exciting public artwork in Coventry. Our solution was to develop with local people, a series of playable, engaging artworks to ‘takeover’ Coventry City Centre for one memorable week from 16 to 22 October. We are looking for a team of energetic and friendly volunteer invigilators to help us present these in public across the city.

About Us

Ludic Rooms is a postdigital arts organisation based at the Canal Basin Coventry, led by a collaborative approach and a passion for creative technology. We work with community organisations, galleries and heritage organisations to create artworks and projects that engage people as creators, not just consumers.

Skills needed

  • Friendliness and an ability to talk to the public
  • Patience and a willingness to see what happens
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting
