Dom Fleming and Tarju Le’Sano: Barriers to Bridges

Coventry based visual artist, Dom Fleming teamed up with Birmingham based producing artist, Tarju Le’Sano to deliver a residency working with young people at Family Hubs across Coventry. Running weekly sessions and creative workshops between Harmony in Hillfields and The Moat in Wood End, Dom Fleming and Tarju Le’Sano explored the areas and subjects that matter most to young people living in the city. The artists have produced a short film which gives a voice to young people often unheard in society. The film offers an honest and powerful insight into the lives of young people growing up in Coventry.

Dom Fleming is a photographer and filmmaker from Coventry. With over 10 years of experience specialising in documentary, fashion and music, Dom has shot a range of subject matter across different countries for world-renowned clients and brands. His ability to connect with people produces authentic and honest work with a raw sense of emotion.

Tarju Le’Sano is a producing artist specializing in performance arts, rap, spoken word and music production. A nominated artist for best Rap / HipHop Act at BMA 2020, Tarju addresses serious issues and his work resonates with contemporary, diverse audiences, which he has shared touring in the UK, Europe & USA.
