Following on from Talking Birds’ immersive walking tour of Spon End, we invite you to take a trail of the unexpected around another of Coventry’s historic neighbourhoods, Stoke, tuning into to the stories of Stoke’s past and present via headphones, led by an actor-guide.

“A fascinating adventure” (Audience Member on WWM#1)

There will be tours at 10.30am & 2pm starting outside the Print Manufactory at FarGo Village Coventry (Unit 10). Tours last just over an hour, at a moderate walking pace; the route is ramp accessible, and suitable for all ages 8+. Captions (subtitles) can be provided via your mobile device via The Difference Engine (we can lend you a device if you need one!). This is a PREVIEW performance, and Talking Birds would like your feedback on the experience afterwards, over tea and cake!

The tour is FREE but places are limited so pre-booking is essential by – emailing access@talkingbirds.co.uk or via the Info/booking line (24 hours, freephone) on 0800 012 2401 (please give your name/contact number, number of places required and preferred time).

Walk With Me has been commissioned as part of Coventry UK City of Culture 2021’s Great Place project, supported by Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Council England. The event is part of Heritage Open Days 2019.
