Bubbenhall Wood Spring Foraging Course
We will meet at the car park at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on how to forage safely and sustainably, and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.
These Spring Foraging courses then include roughly a 2.5 hour walk around Bubbenhall Wood and Meadow, where we will identify a selection of edible and poisonous wild plants and perhaps some mushrooms.
We’ll stop for some lovely homemade refreshments along the way, such as our hogweed and wild garlic soup, fruit leathers or perhaps some wild fruit cordial.
After the walk we will head back to the start to cook up a wild food lunch, based on what we have found. This will include some tasty treats made from our recent finds, such as a wild salad we’ll pick on the day or a wild garlic pesto.
There are limited spaces available so please book your place online.
