Join us to explore how arts and cultural practice can support the Better Health Outcomes across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Providing a space for healthcare professionals, creative practitioners and all interested individuals to come together to explore links between culture, health and wellbeing, this is the first event from the Coventry and Warwickshire Creative Health Alliance (CWCHA), focuses on combating isolation and ageing well.

Full-day and half-day tickets are available, with lunch provided with both ticket types.

The day will include:

• Key note speaker Victoria Hume, Director of National Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance.

• Workshops that explore how culture can support: Social Prescribing, Falls Prevention and living well with long-term health conditions (including SMK, respiratory conditions, dementia)

• Extracts that exemplify the impact of arts practice on health

• Lunch served 12:30pm-1pm

Developed in response to the All Party Parliamentary Group\’s Creative Health Inquiry Report, this event coincides with the Coventry and Warwickshire Year of Wellbeing, and forms part of the preparation for Coventry’s year as UK City of Culture in 2021.

Both freelancers and representatives of larger organisations are invited to share good practice at local and national levels, exploring policy developments that bring together colleagues in arts, health and policy-making and help us build the foundations for the development of arts for health activities in the sub-region.

Ticket prices:
Organisation – Full Day – £45.00
Organisation – Morning – £30.00
Freelance – Full Day – £20.00
Freelance – Morning – £15.00

We have aimed to keep the costs at a reasonable rate, but if you would like to attend but feel the ticket price is a barrier for you, we have a limited number of bursaries available to cover the cost of an all -day ticket. To apply, please email Alice at with 4 sentences explaining why the symposium would be beneficial for your practice.
