Rotary is one of the world’s largest and most successful global membership and humanitarian service organisations with 1.2 million members in 35,000 clubs in over 200 countries.
We have 5 Rotary clubs in Coventry. Our Volunteer members hail from all walks of life and there’s growing diversity, but we’re united in our desire to serve We are People of Action, ready to turn our ideas and vision into lasting change, by creating opportunities, supporting those who need it most and transforming their lives.
We take pride in our local communities, using our knowledge to tackle the challenges faced in our areas. Together, we inspire young people with our range of youth programmes and we build community spirit through family fun days, summer fayres and Christmas collections, like the famous Rotary Santa Sleigh we run in Coventry.
Our global outlook also means we are supporting some of the world’s most vulnerable people. Rotary members implement hundreds of life-changing projects every year around water, education, health and peace. We’ve also led the campaign to virtually eradicate polio from the world.
